Guest Artist Residency with Eric Tuan
November 4-8, 2025

Columbia Choirs of Metropolitan Seattle will host acclaimed Bay Area composer and conductor Eric Tuan for its 2025 Guest Artist Residency Week, running November 4–8, 2025. The residency will bring together Columbia Choirs’ eight ensembles, community partners, and regional music educators for a week of music-making centered on cultural storytelling, social relevance, and community connection.
Throughout the week, Tuan will rehearse with Columbia Choirs’ ensembles—from young children to adult singers—exploring his works inspired by the experiences of Japanese and Chinese immigrants and the broader themes of identity and resilience. He will also participate in two public events.
