Employment Opportunities

We do not currently have any open positions, but we are always looking to hear from local music educators, youth choir conductors, and accompanists to build our substitute list and to contact as we expand our outreach programs in the community. (Current programs are based in Redmond, Kirkland, and Bothell.)

If you would like to be on our list, send an email introducing yourself to Katrina Turman, Artistic Director: [email protected]. Please include your resume and any other videos/recordings you can share from your previous experience.

Columbia Choirs is a community, choral nonprofit organization, based on the Eastside, with a mission “to bring together people of all ages and backgrounds to learn through music and experience the joy of choral singing”. Since 1984, Columbia Choirs has been a musical home for singers of all ages to find their voice, express themselves, and grow their community. With nine performing choirs – for children, youth, and adult singers – and outreach programs in local elementary schools, Columbia Choirs offers high-quality musical learning opportunities and presents a variety of public performances throughout the year.

Columbia Choirs is committed to providing a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment for all staff members, program participants, members, volunteer, and audiences, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, education, or disability. We are committed to providing equal opportunity for employment and advancement in all areas of our organization, so that all employees feel included, equally valued, and supported.
