Rachel Schmidt

Rachel first fell in love with music making as a choral singer at the age of 5. She has participated in countless church choirs, womens, mixed and jazz groups in high school, and All State Honor Choir. In college, she participated in various touring groups traveling to close to 10 states, often with a full orchestra. As an adult, she participated in various groups including Magnolia Chorale, Meridian Ensemble, Wellspring Ensemble, Seattle Symphony Chorale and Concord. After relocating to Seattle, Rachel got very involved in the local music scene, befriending artists and producing shows with Sofar Sounds, Seattle Composers Alliance and Abbey Arts. She currently fills her time running a backyard music festival, attending local shows, adventuring outdoors with kids and singing choral music.
