Guest Artist Residency with Coty Raven Morris
November 3-7, 2026
Columbia Choirs will host sought-after conductor, speaker, and composer Coty Raven Morris for its 2026 Guest Artist Residency Week, running November 3-7, 2026. Coty is a Grammy-nominated educator who focuses on community-centered music education. Throughout the Residency week, Coty will rehearse with all of our eight community choirs, host a workshop for music teachers, visit local middle and high schools, and lead a Community Sing event. This residency culminates in a finale concert that brings together all eight ensembles of Columbia Choirs.
Taking place on Saturday, November 7, the finale concert will feature music focused on the themes of self-care and community care. It will also include a brand new composition that Coty will write during the Residency week in collaboration with our singers. This performance will celebrate an inspiring week of learning, connection, and community singing.
